S: Three Useless Women

My best friend has been working on a slightly AU LotR (after the War of the Ring) fanfiction for the last two years. It was originally a mary sue, but when she learned what a mary sue was, she changed it completely. Hence why these three woman are 'useless'. The cause more problems then fix them and get in the way most of the time. I'm not going into complete detail because I will that forever to explain the story.

Anywho, well she is the writer, I am the helper and illustrator.

This was my first drawing ever of these three characters. It was done about a year and a half ago. They changed a fair bit in style and I'm still working on them, but I felt it would be cool to show everyone what they originally looked like.

The girl to the left is Anaranë the Mirkwood elf princess (480 years old, probably the youngest of her race), but since most of the people she knows has trouble saying her name right, they call her by her translated human name, which is Taimi.
Taimi is the little sister of Legolas. Their parents (mostly the mother) brought her up as a lady, but she thinks that the other ladies of the count are bimbos. Though she is trained to ride and fight, her mother makes her wear the special ride dresses and stuff and she is not aloud outside of Mirkwood. They also wish her to marry, and after Taimi turning down many men, she is being forced to marry Celegorm (OC), youngest son of Celeborn and Galadriel, little brother of Celebrien.
All Taimi wishes is to be free of the royal duties, images and respondsabilities and travel Middle Earth. So when she learns of her brother being invited to Frodo's B-day party, she hides in the wagon he and his party were bringing till she gets caught at the Shire. This is where she meets the other two girls in the picture.
Taimi is generic cheerful, dopoly loveable, flightly, head-strong, rebelious character that has to do experince everything in life. She usually drags the other two girls into her little plans (she has a lot of them, much to the men's dismay) that tend to backfire almost always. And she likes to drink a bit too much, and tends to be overly hyper and have childish temper-tandrums from time to time.

The girl in the middle is Karigan (18 years old), the abopted daughter of Gandalf and apprentice wizard. She is the key to saving Middle Earth for the 'new evil', though no one knows it. (in the story, the ring is not destory. It granted Gollum invincibility since he was controlled by the ring for over 500 years. So basically, the longer you have the ring, the more power it gives you.)
She was brought to Middle Earth and given to the White Wizard, who at the time, people didn't know he was under Sauron's control. He locked her away in the tower till she was three, when Gandalf found her when checking over the tower after the war. Seeing the mark on her back, he knew she was like him, and took her in as his daughter.
Karigan lived in Gandalf's home with her Chambermaid, Yajide. She was not aloud outside this relm, and spent most of her time reading books, walking and riding the lands. This was until Gandalf got invited to Frodo's party, and Yajide talked him into taking the girl with him and stop treating her like a child made of glass.
Karigan is a shy, modest, quiet and naive girl who is nervous around strangers and is known to be a bookworm. She comes off as helpless and is a little know-it-all, and unlike the other two girls, is useless at fighting. More times then not, her spells backfires and make more problems for her friends, and she tends to be too trusting of people and likes to run off to be by herself, forgetting about the dangers in Middle Earth. She is the one Taimi always talks into her crazy plans while the other girl follows to make sure they don't get into trouble... but they always do.

Parvati is the girl on the right (16 years old). She is the half elf daughter of Aragorn, and is his only child. (remember, AU). Since Arwen's disappearance at a young age, Aragorn is left to raise his daughter on his own. This makes Parvati into a tomboy of Middle Earth. She was trained to be a ranger (it doesn't show in the drawing, but she has a bit of a nerd tan ^-^) and much to her dislike, is daddy's little girl. Though Aragorn wishes the best for her, he doesn't know how to raise a daughter, and since she is the only family he has left, she is over-protective of her.
She wishes to be independent in her father's eyes, and though she travels with her father when they get a chance, he still keeps a eye on her. When Aragorn is invited to Frodo's party, Parvati comes with him in her ranger clothes, which makes Aragorn freak when they get they and see how Taimi is dressed (looking like a elven princess should, making Aragorn a bit embarassed) and realizes his daughter should be in dresses as well, much to Parvati's dismay. (giving Taimi and Parvati and bad first impression )
Parvati is quiet, moody, sencable, modest and reliable. She is a bit modest and is a bit of a bookworm like Karigan. She is also the most active of the three (thanks to Aragorn, and no thanks to Gandalf and Thranduil's wife), though she is scrapy, stubborn, easily irratated and mutters when she talks. She is the least likely to get into trouble, usless she is trying to keep the other two girls out of trouble... which is a impossible task.

Blah, okay, I'm done rambling on about the characters. ^-^ This was done in pencil.
